Although Medicine Wheel and volunteers have made great progress on establishing a trail corridor, we want to emphasize that the trail is not yet open. We still have a great deal of field work to do along with regulatory procedures which we will work on over the winter.
The landowner, Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) wanted us to let all of our volunteers and supporters know that they greatly appreciate all of the hard work our volunteers have done – and also that, until the project is complete and approved by CSU staff, the trail must remain closed.
We appreciate your help in making sure that we maintain good relations with our public and private partners on all Medicine Wheel projects. Please do not trespass on the Missing Link or the CSU access road until we get the green light to open it (projected for summer 2017)
