MedWheel Events for Give! 2022. 
Here are some events we’re hosting in conjunction with Give! These are all excellent chances to meet MedWheel staff and volunteers, and learn about current and upcoming projects. Bring your questions about Jones Park, Blodgett Peak, PikeView Quarry, and our top 3 most exciting new trail locations in 2022. Friday Nov 4 – Red Hot Fire Night at Trails End Taproom – featuring DJs TH Seahorse, Relief and Abacus
Our Give! kickoff features pumped-up sounds from 3 local DJs along with a backdrop of interactive fire effects to pump up the party. Check us out from 4-10pm at the *new* Trails End Taproom, 2925 W Colorado (former Mason Jar).
Wednesday Nov 16 – FriendsGIVE!ing at Black Forest Community Hall – featuring Black Rose Acoustic Society and complimentary food and drink
We’re stoked to be back in northern El Paso County with partners that are active in the region – Tri-Lakes Cares, Paws n Hooves, and Trails and Open Space Coalition. This year we will be at the Black Forest Community Club, and we’re extra excited to have music provide by several performers with the Black Rose Acoustic Society. Complimentary beverage tasting and snacks will be offered, as well as in-person giveaways and drawings.
(Giving) Tuesday Nov 29 – Trails, Spokes and Ales at Routes Outfitter.
Join us on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving for the worldwide movement that is Giving Tuesday. Complimentary beverages, snacks, movies and information about community partnership initiatives involving RMFI and the Pikes Peak Outdoor Rec Alliance. Hosted by our friends at Routes Outfitters, this event will feature prize drawings as well as product specials from Routes, too low to show here. Show up and see what is on offer!
Wednesday Dec 7 – Holiday Sweater Party at OCC Brewing
It’s back! The legendary holiday sweater party, this has become a tradition with our partners from RMFI, this year featuring fellow Give! participants, UpaDowna and Blackpackers. Break out your steezy holiday sweater and enter to win prizes. Once again we will feature fabulous celebrity judges, giveaways, specials and fun throughout the evening.
