Support MWTA – by doing what you’re already doing.

Pursuing our vision of creating a world class network of mountain biking trails in the Pikes Peak Region is a year-round endeavor that requires significant resources.  How do we do it? We are very fortunate in our region to have many trail opportunities, and an incredibly supportive community of trail users that want to give back to to the trails.  MWTA supporters enable us to keep working for great trail experiences, and you can choose the way ways that work for you. A few options to choose from: by becoming a member, volunteering on one of our committees, attending our social events (including reformatted socially distanced and virtual events), moving dirt and rocks on one of our Trail Love workdays, or through a donation of dollars or in-kind goods. We thank you sincerely for all of this support!

Here are some additional ways you can support the trails you love at no additional cost to you, if you already shop at these businesses:

Do you have a King Soopers Plus card?  Click here to select Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates as your designated charity – at no cost to you, King Soopers will donate to MWTA based on your purchases.

If you order on Amazon, please do it with the Smile program. It costs you nothing – it’s your existing account, (including Prime if you already use it), same prices, but with the benefit of supporting the trails you love.  Amazon makes a donation of 0.5% of the amount spent, on eligible items. Just go to smile.amazon.com whenever you would go to amazon.com, no need to register.

Our partners right here in Colorado Springs, Mountain Equipment Recyclers, will accept gently used outdoor gear, sell it for you, and donate a portion of the selling price to MWTA.  If you are cleaning out your garage, visit MER to help find a new home for your underused gear. And if you want to pick up good quality new-to-you outdoor gear – MER is your place.

Sincere thanks to these businesses and to all the supporters of MWTA!
