November 1, 2020
The 4th annual Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates Hootenanny end of season celebration is back this Sunday Nov 1 from 1-5pm at Buffalo Lodge. We’re grateful to be able to gather at the lodge for a MODIFIED, SAFE Hootenanny, outside, with warm weekend in the forecast. Join us to celebrate trail successes this build season.
This year’s Hootenanny features live music, direct from Meadowgrass: Hootenanny Americana by John Spengler and friends. PLUS DJ performances by SubCaste Sound, featuring Wise and Chasie1Love! with fresh smooth reggae. Live art performances throughout the event by Spica and the HydraConflagulators.
Q&A with MWTA board & committee members to learn about our latest projects.
Don’t miss 230pm, awards presentation and the MWTA video premiere including new drone footage of Codell trail and Austin Bluffs/Pulpit rock.
There is enough space outside at Buffalo Lodge to be socially distant with your fellow trail lovers. Please follow all state and county health guidelines, including wearing a mask and staying distant from other guests. The in-person Hootenanny is limited to 75 attendees. This year’s Hootenanny we're including an online Zoom option so you can join from home if you prefer. Our Zoom account can handle 100 attendees - let's test that for this event! We have exclusive online-only prizes for Zoom attendees.
All registered MWTA members (online and in person) will be entered for door prizes including swag from partners SRAM, Fossil, Evoc and more.
Don’t miss at 330pm, both in person and online costume contests. Judging for all categories will be on Zoom. Prizes will will be awarded to both in Person and Online attendees:
