Here are our guidelines to join as a volunteer. Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates seek passionate trail users of any ability to join our team! All styles of riding as well as non-riders who share a passion for our mission are welcome. MWTA works with a committee structure: Most committees meet once a month, with tasks completed between meetings as your schedule allows. We need help with all our committees. We’re particularly seeking these competencies & experience: Grantwritng, Fundraising Branded material (swag) management Graphic Design Event Management Social media content curation Newsletter Crew leading & training Trail building & design Photography & video production Nonprofit/volunteer/leadership Project management Connections to current or future partner organizations: - User groups (especially hiking & trail running) - Friends groups - groups that care for city, county, regional & state parks - Riding groups & Clubs - Schools - Military - Faith-based orgs - Diversity focused org - Land managers, CSU To join our board - contact us to find the best committee for you, and join as a volunteer for 3 months. After that time you may apply to join the board. All board members sign an agreement with MWTA that outlines expectations for board members AND the organization.
